Ibn e Insha

Sher Muhammad Khan, better known by his pen name Ibn-e-Insha, was a Pakistani Urdu poet, humorist, travelogue writer and newspaper columnist. Along with his poetry, he was regarded as one of the best humorists of Urdu. Often Called as the "Wanderer of Chandnagar" he was born on 15 June 1927 in Phillaur of then Punjab, to Munshi Khan (who was ethnically from Rajasthan). He completed his B.A. and M.A. in English Literature and then joined Government Radio Services. He later on Worked as an Ambassador for pakistan Government due to which he was posted in many different countries, thus earning him his Nickname 'Wanderer of Chandnagar'. He died on 11 January 1978 in London and was buried in Karachi. Here at Shayarkhan we present you one of his few shayaris:
